Gt Barton Parish Council and Gt Barton Primary Academy have been working together on a project to commemorate 100 years since the end of World War 1.

The children each made a poppy to create a trail from the school to the Church:

Poppies were also used to cover '100' signs which were displayed with a seated  'There but not There' Tommie statue supplied by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust.  These were created to represent every single name from the 888,246 British and Common wealth Fallen of the First World War.
