HALL PARK GREEN

Over the last years this lovely Green has become very unattractive, where nettles, thistles, brambles and ivy have been allowed to run riot.

Sarah Broughton has contacted the Borough Council to suggest that these weeds be flailed, thus encouraging the scale and appearance of our Green back to its former glory. In addition, Sarah is giving us two Park Benches paid for from her Locality Grant Budget and the Borough Council has approved.

We have arranged a Work Party with the Residents of Hall Park on Saturday 16th March (or 23rd March if the weather is dreadful on the first day) starting at 10am – 12.00/12.30. We are asking everyone to bring their own garden tools to trim low twigs and branches, general rubbish, etc. and we would be more than delighted if anyone from other parts of the Village would join us. This Green is for the enjoyment of all Residents of Great Barton.
