Atrial Fibrillation is an abnormality with the heart’s rhythm caused by a problem with the heart’s electrical system.

If the blood starts to ‘pool’ in the lower chambers, a clot can be formed which may travel to the brain and cause a stroke.

Thanks to medical improvements, you can be simply tested by placing two fingers on the screen of the smartphone/tablet – in other words an

AliveCor Single Lead Mobile ECG

If it proves that your heart has an electrical problem, it is wise to see your GP as soon as possible and suitable medication can be provided.

On Tuesday 26th November we will be holding a test session between 1.00 pm and 5.30 pm.

You do not need to book – just come to the COMMUNITY ROOM in the VILLAGE HALL at a time that suits you.

This is a valuable test for your health, so please come to the Village Hall.
