POLICE APPEAL FOLLOWING A SERIES OF BURGLARIES

Police are appealing for witnesses and urging communities to be vigilant following a series of 26 burglaries in Suffolk over the past 2 weeks. The incidents which are similar in nature typically occur in the afternoon/early evening, in rural locations, when the residents are not at home and the offenders force entry.

Police are urging members of the public to be their 'eyes' and

'See it. Hear it.  Report it'.

Note down the car registration number or description of any suspicious persons you may have seen.  Anyone witnessing suspicious activity in their local community should contact Western Area CID on 101
