Many thanks to everyone who completed the Neighbourhood Plan Questionnaire and the Housing Needs Survey.  They are now being analysed and results will be published in the new year.

 

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN EDITING ? 

Gt Barton has a vacancy for an editor for its popular quarterly magazine. This is delivered to all of the 925 homes in Gt Barton.  The editor is responsible for the content, preparation and arranging the printing. Duties includes soliciting items for publication, editing contributions, organising the  layout, liaising with the advertisers and keeping a digital backup. NORTH EAST BURY ST EDMUNDS

A website providing information specifically on the North East Development in Gt Barton, has been set up by Berkeley Homes.  Click here for further information. 

Berkeley Homes will be attending the Neighbourhood Plan working group meeting on Tuesday 5th December to give an update on the North East Development.  Everyone is welcome to attend. The meeting starts at 7pm in the village hall.

SUITABLE SITES CONFIRMED FOR COMMUNITY SPEED WATCH SCHEME

The following sites in Gt Barton have been approved for Community Speed Watch by the Police : Mill Road, Livermere Road, Thurston Road and Fornham Road.  

 We are now looking for a co-ordinator to progress the scheme
